Federal Skilled Worker Program

For skilled professionals with overseas or Canadian experience who want to settle outside Quebec.

What is Express Entry?
It is the online system IRCC uses to manage applications for three economic immigration programs. You create a profile, receive a score and wait for an invitation.
Not necessarily. Many candidates are invited without one. We explain how your situation affects your options.
Once you submit a complete application, IRCC aims to process most Express Entry files within about six months. Times change, so we check the latest figures.
